Bug Reports

Hi Hedy team, I’ve run into an issue over the past few meetings where my meeting transcripts weren’t recorded properly. Only part of each meeting was captured, meaning a large chunk of my notes are missing. Everything seemed to be working normally during the calls, but when I checked the transcripts afterward, I saw that they stopped midway without any warning or error. This has disrupted my workflow, as I rely on Hedy to retain accurate records of key conversations.

there are a couple things about the vertical scroll bar that make it hard to view the Transcript tab during a meeting: 1) the icons overlap with the bottom of the scroll bar, so it's tricky to click on that scroll bar in the right place. could the icons please be moved to the left a bit so they do not overlap with the scroll bar? 2) when new content is added to the bottom of the transcript, the window automatically jumps to the bottom to show that new content - even if i have the mouse firmly holding down the scroll bar higher up in the transcript. as a result, when i am trying to read what was said earlier in the transcript, it constantly jumps back to the end, and then i scroll back higher to where i was before, and then it jumps back down, over and over and over. finally i gave up and copied the transcript as it appeared so far and pasted it into a separate Google Doc. (as a comparison, when i view the full transcript in Zoom, i am able to keep the view fixed on an earlier part of the transcript, and am not constantly forced back to the end. i don't even have to hold down the scroll bar to have it stay there)

i resized the MacOS app to be narrow, and used the Live Chat for a while. then i decided to make the window wider. at that point, the entire Live Chat history disappeared. i tried this again and was able to replicate the bug.

(is this how you'd like us to file bug reports?) i uploaded recordings of a few meetings that took place before i signed up for Hedy. the bug is that the resulting transcripts occasionally include the sentence "Please click the orange glasses at the bottom of the screen." scattered throughout. for one session, it happened often enough that the Detailed Notes even contained "(repeated requests to "click the orange glasses at the bottom of the screen")"
