I’m still seeing some inefficient on-device storage behaviour from the Android app, and I’d love help to fix this to free up my phone storage. Context Device: Pixel 8 Pro Android: 16 Hedy app version: 2.11.4 As a user, I expect all recordings to: be stored in a compressed format like .m4a contain meaningful audio (I routinely delete Hedy sessions that are not useful, including their recordings) What I’m seeing I inspected the recordings directory from a terminal and generated a report (attached) with filename, modified date, size, and file type. Even though I delete Hedy sessions that aren’t useful, I still end up with: Massive uncompressed .wav files, taking up gigabytes of storage, and Very small “junk” recordings (tiny .wav.m4a files with little/no signal). Total: 501 recordings, ~9.7 GB Most files look fine: Extension: .m4a Type: ISO Media, Apple iTunes ALAC/AAC-LC (.M4A) Audio Problem 1: 46 files with .wav extension Type: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, Microsoft PCM, 16 bit, mono 16000 Hz Total size: ~3.75 GB These are large, uncompressed audio recordings that I expected to be saved as .m4a. Problem 2: 38 files with .wav.m4a extension Also detected as RIFF ... WAVE audio, Microsoft PCM, 16 bit, mono 16000 Hz (so actually WAV, not a proper M4A container) Total size: ~16.9 MB Most are very small (< 70 KB) and just contain background noise / no useful content About 9 are around 1.5 MB (still not especially useful content) This feels both wasteful and confusing, given my expectation that everything should be stored efficiently as .m4a and that deleting sessions should remove their recordings. I've attached a a report of the files in CSV format. It shows filename, modification date, size, and file command output (file type). Questions Is the app expected to ever store raw .wav files on disk, or should everything end up as compressed .m4a? Are .wav.m4a files an indication of a failed conversion / cleanup step (e.g. temp WAV file that never got transcoded or renamed correctly)? When I delete a Hedy session in the app, should that reliably remove all associated recordings (including any temp or raw files)? Thanks! Let me know what I can do to help fix this.

immediately after a session finishes processing, i can see it has a topic properly assigned (the one i chose when is started the session). but then a second later, the topic disappears

more specifically, when recording audio from an iphone, chat session data from windows is not being automatically updated. my usecase is recording audio with my phone while attending to a meeting / gathering insights from/using my pc.

sometimes, i'll click on a topic and look at its list of Sessions, and notice the sessions are sorted in chronological order from earliest to latest. then after a while, the sort order suddenly reverses by itself so it shows the sessions from latest to earliest. it's not a blocker, but it's disconcerting when i'm trying to find a certain session and then suddenly everything shifts. i am not entirely sure what triggers the reversal, but i think it might happen automatically after i've been viewing the session list for a while. (in case it helps, this bug has existed for a while - it's not new with 2.7.0)

I created a session on my phone and everything proceeded as normal. But it turns out my phone (which only has internet if the wifi is on) didn't have internet. After I ended the 1 hours session, I hit "End Session" and then ... nothing. It was then I realized it wasn't hooked up to the internet. Two issues: Either a warning that I'm offline or a feature to record and then upload when online to complete the session. If there is a way to recover my session, that would be amazing. So much lost!

the automatic suggestions keep saying i should go open a new tab, search for various different topics, and read up on them so i can understand the meeting better. i personally feel these types of suggestions are not that useful because 1) if i feel i don't understand a topic and need to understand it, i wouldn't need a suggestion that i go look it up 2) searching and reading during the meeting is kind of what Hedy is meant to replace. if i need some quick info, i'd just ask Hedy. AI repeatedly telling me to go use a search engine and read a web site seems backwards

Hi Hedy team, I’ve run into an issue over the past few meetings where my meeting transcripts weren’t recorded properly. Only part of each meeting was captured, meaning a large chunk of my notes are missing. Everything seemed to be working normally during the calls, but when I checked the transcripts afterward, I saw that they stopped midway without any warning or error. This has disrupted my workflow, as I rely on Hedy to retain accurate records of key conversations.

Environment: Hedy Beta (version: 2.8.5) & Web app Location in app: Session > Detailed Notes (bottom of session details) -- Issue Description: In the “Detailed Notes” section, text selection is limited. When trying to click and drag to select multiple ideas or bullet points, only one line at a time gets selected. -- Expected Behavior: Users should be able to click and drag to select and copy multiple lines or paragraphs of text seamlessly, like in a standard text editor or browser view.

I went to delete a topic that had zero sessions in it. after that, ALL my topics disappeared. the thought of re-assigning topics to every single past session... 😭

Web app>chat: The same chat content is shown under all sessions. In the mobile app it works as expected: only the chat for the session is shown.
