Hi Julian, I experienced the same issue when importing an MP3; the CPU usage spiked to approximately 760%. This was the first time my MacBook Pro (2021 M1) made so much noise that I became concerned and stopped the process, as it was processing an hour-and-forty-minute call recording. I'll submit a separate feature request, but being able to import transcripts (which I often obtain from Assembly AI) would be an excellent alternative for audio files. This would prevent putting my Mac through such strain until this issue is resolved. 🙂
