Text-to-speech (Read aloud)

Thanks So much for the update.

Great ideas all around here. I do think we should be able to tap into existing operating system APIs that provide text to speech fairly easily.
Unfortunately the locally generated OS voices are far behind what we're getting used to from ChatGPT, Eleven Labs, etc. And using those cloud services for TTS is too expensive unfortunately for us to use at scale.
We'll further investigate options.

Julian Pscheid that does make sense. If possible though, if we could have this TTS an option for us even by bring our own key, (BYOK) pay for access to the TTS, it would be well worth it since we can use Hedy not just while we're focused on looking at our screen, but also on the go.
For example, at a networking event or even while heading to an important meeting.
This would allow us to hear Hedy on out bluetooth speakers, making it an even more versatile and discreat assistant for all types of users. Beginers and even those with api understanding.
Plus as a bonus, this would also kill 2 feature requests with 1 stone!

Hi Alf Marcussen Julian Pscheid and everyone!
After testing, I found a way to get the audio for each summary generated by Hedy through ZAPIER. Ideally, it would be awesome to get the audio summary directly within Hedy App, but in the meantime, I think this can be useful:
I used the Realistic Text to Speech app within Zapier, as shown in the image attached.
I needed to create an account on RapidAPI to obtain the API key and integrate it into the Zapier module
You can add another connection after this app to upload the audio to Google Drive, for example. However, I noticed that if I add a third connection, I need to subscribe to the paid version of Zapier :(
With two connections (Hedy + Realistic Text to Speech), I am required to access Zapier each time I want to retrieve the audio. If anyone finds a better way, please let me know!

giving Hedy a voice would be awesome. Also during meetings as a 'live' assistant that can answer for everyone in the room (on/off feature)

Just the other day, I thought of a similar use case. After a late afternoon meeting, I got a great summary from Hedy of my last meeting and then headed to the gym. I wondered how awesome it would be if I could listen to those summaries, either while driving or working out. If Hedy could offer this feature, it would be incredible!
In the meantime, if anyone else has found a way to listen to their Hedy summaries, I'd be grateful if you could share it 😃

Oscar I have not figured that out yet, but I can see the value in it as now we also have the To Do List feature in the Summaries and THAT would be awesome to get in an audio as well. However, I think that is a Completely New feature that is not Onboard inside Hedy at this point.
Ps. Maybe there is another software out there that can do that... I think there HAS to be... and I would LOVE to know about this as well...so keep me posted ;-)
