Tagging sessions to group by client or project
complete

If there was a way to tag sessions with keywords using hashtags like #clienta #clientb #project1 #project2 and then be able to use the tags to consolidate or view the sessions. This could create a history of connected or related sessions and have ability to review the developing conversations over time.
I have also seen something similar on Otter.ai where folders can be created, after a session, you can move it to a specific folder which also consolidates the connected conversations.
It would also be cool if the AI could take all linked conversations into context when a prompt or question is asked, leading to more dynamic responses and ability to recall from prior convos.

We added Topics in version 2.4 to allow organizing sessions and chat across sessions within a topic.
There's a separate request to add "many-to-many" tags, and we'll evaluate that separately.

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update that we are close to launching the session organization/tagging feature. Expect it to be rolled out in the coming days!

Julian Pscheid I think it would have been better to use tags, with the ability to create/use them directly from the sessions. And see them listed in the folder section.
Currently we can only attach one file per session, and we must create the folder first.

Julian Pscheid having it available in the web app would also be useful!

Sebastien R. Thanks for the feedback! We're deciding how much to still invest into the web app, with the Windows app becoming available soon. Do you still see use cases where you'd want to use the web app frequently even after the Windows app is released?
Julian Pscheid
Sebastien R. We focused on creating the topics in a 1-to-1 relationship for now, because that allows us to create clarity for which sessions to include for context.
Since tags would be in a many-to-many relationship, we would need to restrict them to organization use only (not for context purposes). Would that still provide value to you?

Julian Pscheid no of course, the windows app would be great to have

Julian Pscheid I guess it depends on use cases. For academic studies the folder that merges multiple sessions makes sense, or topic follow up cases.
If tags were used as a filter/search feature only, it would still be useful using the upcoming cross-session search. I.e. if you could 'chat' with the filtered sessions on your search screen.
E.g. filter sessions related to a client and to a specific product, then chat with the displayed result, like a current temporary folder effect.
It would open the door to auto tagging (picking up from our custom preset list).
It would also be nice to display folder name on session names, in the historical list view.

Being able to add tags (@clientA, @ClientB, @+Class1, @Class2) would be very helpful when it comes time to search, sort and look for specific tagged sessions. It would shave a HUGE amount of time off searching for specific subject related sessions.
