My field is in mathematics, so many of the meetings I would like to record have audio that isn't parsed properly by most transcription software. Would it be possible to add the capability for a custom library of words corresponding to certain structures/letter combinations? For example, saying "the square root of x" or "dx dt" could link to a custom dictionary, which would parse them as sqrt(x) and dx/dt.

This would be super helpful for me as well.
Certain words, such as product names, are consistently misspelled in transcripts. Since these misspellings are predictable and occur the same way each time, I’d love to see a feature where users can create a repository of word replacements or corrections. This would allow the application to automatically replace these known misspellings with the correct spelling when generating summaries.
The ability to define and manage a list of custom corrections would be incredibly useful for ensuring accuracy in documentation and reports, particularly for industry-specific terminology.

If do-able, it would be nice to let us correct a word and let Hedy use the correct spelling.
The problem mostly arises with names who are not common vocabulary words. it will always write "AELIA" instead of "ELIA" for example.
For example add the list of keywords heard in a session, for rapid check, and if we edit one of these, it will correct the spelling for all these words in its transcript.

Just started using Hedy and it looks super-handy! Since medical conversation is one popular use-case, it may be worth loading common medical terms and drug names into the program so that it spells them correctly, if this is possible. For example, I got "M-Lotipin" transcribed instead of the drug name "amlodipine".

This is a great suggestion. In my case I live in Hawaii, and most of the streets, businesses, and names are in the Hawaiian language. This takes a long time to correct after transcription.
It would also be great if the application could be trained/recognize programmed words (during transcription). Allowing the users to enter the phonetic pronunciation for uncommon words, names, or slang. Example below.
Word: Waikiki
Phonetic pronunciation: wai-kee-kee
