Record Phone Calls via IPhone

Is this coming? When I make phone calls to doctors or any company, what I do currently is have my phone on speaker while Hedy is recording from my desktop. It would be so much more convenient to be able to record a call straight from my phone. I’m sure it’s been asked about plenty of times and not being done for a valid reason I don’t know about. Thanks.

I posted yesterday an answer with a plausible workaround but comments with URLs are being hidden to public. Here I repost without URLs :
iOS DOES NOT ALLOW third apps to listen to phone calls. This is a native operative system limitation and there's no way to circumvent at the app level.
To overcome iOS/Android native recording limitations, other conversation capture apps apply the workaround of including a white-label smart voice recorder in their service offer.
They source and rebrand cutting-edge hardware with slim form factor as the Boya Notra or Plaud Note (which use a physical toggle switch and a bone-conduction sensor to capture call vibrations), and update their software ecosystem for seamless sync and control. Example: MyMemo M-NOTE
The question is if users are wiling to pay the extra fees for those kind of devices.

I believe iPhone or Apple does not allow that, and I think that's the hinge with that.

You can see a quick demo of how this hardware interaction works here:

This is really important feature. Please get it done.

It would also be very useful to be able to record and transcribe what happens during a telephone conversation.

This is a MUST and shouldn't be ignored, even if there's technical complexity.
This is possible either with a third-party service integration
or some other workarounds as mentioned here.
The least you can do is doing it via the desktop app, which could record the phone call via Bluetooth or wifi-connection, like Microsoft phone link

I think it should be worth considering support to third party recording hardware here (eg. what Plaud does)
