Customizable Meeting Minutes Templates (SOAP, DAP)
Julian Pscheid
Currently, Hedy generates meeting minutes with a standard template. We want to expand this functionality to support multiple professional note-taking templates and provide flexibility for different meeting types and professional needs.
Add support for predefined professional templates:
* SOAP Template (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan). Ideal for medical consultations, therapy sessions, and healthcare-related meetings
* DAP Template (Data, Assessment, Plan). Useful for counseling, social work, and professional coaching sessions
Key Capabilities:
* Per-session template selection
* Predefined templates for different professional contexts
* Automatic restructuring of meeting minutes based on selected template
* Preservation of key meeting details and insights
User Experience:
When generating meeting minutes, users would see a dropdown or selection screen with template options:
* Default Meeting Minutes
* SOAP Template
* DAP Template
Benefits:
* Increased flexibility for professionals
* Standardized note-taking across different fields
* Improved organization of meeting insights
* Tailored documentation for specific professional needs

It is an interesting and appropriate suggestion.
With more than 15 years of expérience doing meeting reports, by far the most useful template for projects is the Follow-Up. It is composed of a record of achievements (points completed + completion date) and a follow-up summarize of new pending points which must include: What, Who (in charge of doing) and desirable When (deadline). Every point has to be numbered.
A good complement is having the ability to export the meeting minutes in a editable format like markdown or more specific (docx, xlsx) to polish the summary/report and send it by email to the attendees.

Why not allow custom templates? I run a recruitment agency and would like to extract the key information of candidate calls, write a draft for a candidate pitch summary etc.
