Be able to be able to upload pdf's to hedy before a conversation. Even better the ability to upload things and make custom hedys.

Attach/Link files to Context Profiles

Request: the ability to attach or link files to a Context Profile, so sessions using that profile load those documents automatically. Supporting PDF, DOCX, TXT, and MD would cover most cases. Linked rather than copied files keep context current when the source document changes.
Current state: pasting text into the Context Content field is the intended path; the field caps at 20,000 characters; no file attach or link exists.
Use case: recurring session types that reference the same background documents (role descriptions, project briefs, reference material). Session Types and Context Profiles already carry the structure; file support removes the copy-paste step and the drift when sources change.

Attached screenshots to chat during session

It would be nice to be able to attached images from meeting presentations to provide visual reference for Hedy to ask questions based on what’s being viewed in realtime. Could there be an attachment button added near the chat box?

Session-specific context (at start and during recording) with file upload
S
Sebastien R.
More input for context is really a must-have, and should be made top priority IMHO:
At a session start, type or drop files to create Session-specific context. Allow us to update it during the session in a dedicated tab.
We should ultimately have this level of control to give Hedy the best knowledge:
- Session type context, i.e meeting, recruitment, etc. (also requested)
- Transversal recurring context (available in settings)
- Folder context (planned)
- Session-specific context (this demand)

Image and PDF attachments for Meetings
R

As a meeting participant, I want to provide images (via upload, camera, or paste) and PDFs during a session so Hedy can offer insights, and ensure all these assets are bundled into the final session data sent via webhook.
- Input Methods (Upload & Paste)
* AC 1.1: The chat interface must support Cmd+V / Ctrl+V to allow users to paste images directly from their clipboard (e.g., from a screenshot tool).
* AC 1.2: Users must be able to upload files in PDF, PNG, and JPEG formats via a file picker.
* AC 1.3: On mobile, the interface must allow capturing a photo via the system camera for immediate upload.
* AC 1.4: The UI must show a "processing" state or thumbnail preview while the file is being analyzed by the AI.
- Real-Time AI Insight
* AC 2.1: Hedy must use the uploaded/pasted content as primary context for subsequent chat queries.
* AC 2.2: Hedy must be able to perform OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and data extraction to answer specific questions about the shared file.
* AC 2.3: If multiple files are uploaded, Hedy must maintain a "session memory" of all files shared within that specific meeting.
- Session Ended Webhook Integration
* AC 3.1: The system must trigger a session_ended webhook only after the meeting is concluded.
* AC 3.2: The webhook payload must include a files array containing all assets shared during the session.
* AC 3.3: Each object in the files array must contain:
* original_filename
* file_type (MIME type)
* storage_url (A secure link to the file)
* timestamp_pasted (When it was introduced to the chat)
* AC 3.4: The webhook must also include the full_transcript and ai_summary alongside the file data to provide a complete historical record.

Looking for a way basically this but not in the context of the a recording. I thought I could maybe get there by creating sessions pre-emptively when the meeting invite is created via make.com (for my purposes) this one seemed like the "best" integration platform to utilize. Trying to add the "agenda" body of the Outlook session, include attendees and provide the start date/time. Then even better, it start the session automatically - but I don't think there's a way to enable this currently.
Alternatively, I guess I could pull in the additional details with the webhook (session.created) but naively I feel like this should be done before the meeting starts.

Ability to add context before a meeting

Cliff
It would be helpful to be able to add context to a meeting before it starts to give Hedy a better starting point to provide better info/assistance. Many times there is a starting agenda or documentation to either upload or copy and paste to help with more accurate feedback.

Add screenshots to sessions

I would like the ability to pull in screenshots and ask questions pertaining to the session info and associated visuals.

Hi Cliff, thanks for the suggestion. This is definitely something we are considering.
