RESOLVED: Hedy records system audio but not my microphone

This issue has been resolved. Please find the solution in the comment below.
Hedy records the other participants' audio from the call, but it does not record any audio from my local microphone.
Expected result:
Both the system audio and my microphone audio are captured in the recording.
Actual result:
Only the other participants are recorded; my side of the conversation is missing.
Troubleshooting already completed:
- The correct microphone is selected in Hedy.
- The microphone works normally in the meeting app.
- Windows microphone permissions are enabled.
- Windows shows that Hedy is accessing the microphone.
This appears to be the inverse of the previously reported issue where microphone audio was captured but system audio was missing.

Resolved — this was caused by an interaction with Equalizer APO/Peace.
Equalizer APO had been applied to the microphone endpoint as well as the speaker output. This affected the Windows capture path used by Hedy and Sound Recorder, while meeting applications such as Teams and Zoom continued to receive microphone audio through their communications processing path.
Removing the microphone from Equalizer APO’s configured devices, while leaving it enabled for the speakers, restored microphone capture in Hedy without affecting system-audio recording.
I am documenting this compatibility issue here. If your machine is saying the microphone stream contains only silence, but Windows is still reporting that the application is successfully accessing the microphone, please check whether anything else is accessing the microphone endpoint.
