I'd like to be able to get help from Hedy in my native tongue when listening to English lectures.

Hedy is great, but unfortunately, it only supports conversations in a very limited number of languages. This means that users speaking some of the "smaller" languages might struggle to take full advantage of Hedy's benefits.

So, it would be great to have a few other language options for speech recognition. Although the more the better, I know first-hand that the following languages would be very welcome by users:

• Cantonese

• Hungarian

• Romanian

• Bulgarian

• Estonian

• Hebrew

• Finnish

• Danish

• Arabic

• Czech

• Greek

• Hindi

• Thai

I understand that supporting these languages is not only in the hands of Hedy's development team, but also dependent on the AI speech recognition capabilities of the AI model that Hedy uses.

With that being said, there are, in fact, quite a few other AI voice assistants & tools that already do an amazing job at speech recognition in most (if not all) of the languages listed above.

So – if possible – I'd like to request the development team to look ways to add more language options for speech recognition asap.

Even if the first version of any given language isn't 100% perfect or accurate, you can always mark it as a beta-launch – and even then, some users might be able to get some value out of it, or at least geek out on how it works.
